About Luxigate
The collectors’ floor.
Luxigate is where Egypt’s watch people meet: the dealers who sell, the collectors who own, the ones still looking, and the guides that tell you what to check before you pay. Bags, jewellery, shoes and scarves from the same dealers sit a click away.
Why we exist
Egypt has a deep bench of watch people — dealers who know a 1680 from a 16800, collectors with pieces inherited and pieces hunted down, and a steady stream of buyers who want the right watch rather than the one that happens to be in a window. Until now they found each other through dozens of Instagram accounts and WhatsApp groups. Luxigate gives them one floor.
The rooms
- The marketplace. New and preloved watches from verified dealers and private sellers, every listing tied to its reference.
- Collections. Members catalogue what they own and open a wall when they choose to. Estimates stay private; the wall is public only by its owner’s decision.
- Wanted. Say what you’re hunting and let the dealers and collectors who have one come to you.
- The journal. House guides: who they are, what they made first, what to check before buying.
- The price guide. Retail as the brands publish it, beside what Luxigate’s own listings are asking today — with the sample size, always.
Who sells here
Dealers apply, and we review the business before approving it. Approved dealers carry the Verified Dealer mark and remain responsible for the authenticity of every piece they list, and for payment, shipping, pickup and returns. Private sellers list their own pieces and carry a plainer mark: Luxigate has not reviewed them and does not authenticate what they sell. For anything you’re serious about, have it checked independently before you pay.
What Luxigate never does
- Take payment, or sit between you and the seller.
- Value a collector’s pieces, or show an estimate to anyone but its owner.
- Quote a market figure without saying how many listings it came from.
